Our Background

Real Community Services commenced a Relief Staffing Service to the Greater Brisbane area in January 2006 as a response to unmet needs of the Disability Sector. RCS quickly gained momentum to be the preferred option as a specialised staffing agency to many reputable Government and Non-Government Disability Service Providers.

In April 2007 Certification was achieved as a Service Provider under the Queensland Disability Service Standards and RCS Lifestyle Support (then known as Ciana Lifestyle Support) was born. RCS Lifestyle Support continues to grow with funded clients being supported from Brisbanes Northern Suburbs, out to Alexandra Hills and West to Ipswich.

In August 2008 RCS expanded its services to include a Specialised Services Partnership and Support Service (SSP). Out of the growing need for more appropriate services to individuals that do not fit within the mainstream community services sector, SSP continues to gain momentum towards 2010 as a tailored and unique  addition to the support network of individuals with complex behaviour support needs. 

With a wide range of Community and Social Service Organisations depending on Real Community Services, we are committed to ensure that quality in service delivery remains a driving force to our approach.
